Phishing, keylogging, malware, and the tactics attackers use to target people.
Have you ever received an email or a text message that looked suspicious? Have you ever been unsure if you should open the message or click on a link? What are the things that made you suspicious?
Think about specific details: the sender's name, the subject line, links, attachments, or the tone of the message.
Navigate to your assigned level on Code Studio. Look at the examples and read the articles. Fill out the row on your activity guide, then create a PSA (Public Service Announcement) slide including the information you gathered. Remember: show (include visuals) don't tell (key points, no paragraphs of text).
Form new groups so that each group has one person from each topic area. Share your PSA slides with one another and give an explanation of your security risk.
Fill in the rest of the table on your first slide as each person shares. Make sure you have notes on all three security risks before time is up.
